Warrior
Warrior sits at the far north end of the corridor on the Locust Fork of the Black Warrior River. It has the most intact old downtown of any town up here — brick storefronts, a rail line, and a genuine small-town main street — plus the best river access in the county.
Housing
Older homes with character near downtown, plus acreage and river-adjacent property outside it. The least expensive market on the corridor, and the one with the most fixer-upper potential.
Schools
Jefferson County Schools, with Mortimer Jordan High School serving the area.
Getting around
Around 30–35 minutes to downtown Birmingham via I-65 exit 284 or 282. This is a commit-to-the-drive town.
